Where nightmares take a turn

Mallegory is a small Australian game development company founded by lead designer and developer Max Bane in 2014.

Freelance artist Vincent Van Hoof, and graphic designer Elena Koutuzova both lent their experience and prowess to the flagship game Dreary Hamlet.

Dreary Hamlet was playtested successfully for the first time at The Games Laboratory in Melbourne on the 28th of October 2014, and thanks to support from the community and event organisers found its way onto the floor at PAX Aus 2014 several days later. In 2015 the game was the subject of a wildly popular Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, and it was later manufactured and delivered in 2016 to positive reviews.

Mallegory is currently working on several in-development projects, the most recent of these being a game still in art production titled 'Eldritch Spirits', which won a booth for demonstration at the PAX Australia convention in October 2018 as a part of the 'PAX Collaboratory'. The game proved to be one of the most popular on show in the Collaboratory, with a constantly full table and crowds waiting to play, which we hope spells good things for its future.

The team at Mallegory are working tirelessly to make dreams a reality, and are always looking for feedback or ideas from the community for these or any future projects.
